A COLLECTION OF JAPANESE SMOKING IMPLEMENTS MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912), 19TH CENTURY The first a Senryu-zutsu (single section) pipe case of carved wood with a pipe carved to imitate bamboo and burlwood tonkotsu; the second a simple carved wooden pipe case and burlwood pouch; the third a large polished burlwood tonkotsu with accompanying wooden toggle. The largest 24cm long PROVENANCE: A Private Collection of Inro and Japanese accessories. Condition Report Condition:Overall condition good, consistent with age and use.
