PROVENANCE: From Audubon, New Orleans Private Collector. Dimensions: Heigth: 13.5 cm, Diameter: 14.6 cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Famille Rose Lotus Porcelain High Foot Bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring mouth rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on high foot base deep concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in red base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of lotus flowers bloom interspersed foliage and scrolling tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
