PROVENANCE: From Atlanta Private Collector, Japanese Immigrant Family. Dimensions: Heigth: 5 cm, Diameter: 4.5 cm Chinese Ming Dynasty XuanDe Red Flower Porcelain Bowl With Japanese Wooden Box and Calligraphy Red Mark. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against red fine color, depicted of flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
