The porcelain box is potted in a hexagonal form, correspondence dome lid with finial bud and there is a tongue at the outer rims for fitting the lid, raised on ring hexagonal flat foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flying Phoenix and Imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring line. Made in The Years WanLi Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
