PROVENANCE: From Bluffton, SC Private Collector. Dimensions: Heigth: 27.2 cm, Diameter: 12.4 cm Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Wanli Blue and White Flower Porcelain Goblets. Potted in a traditional Gu beaker shape vase, having baluster shaped body, large, tall and thick, bulging belly on the mid, trumpet-shaped on the tall neck, raised with high round flaring foot base, like reverse bowl with splayed foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clen white color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring line. Made in The Years WanLi Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
