PROVENANCE: From Private estate collections of David Frederick Boyd, of Marietta, Georgia (1935 - 2018). Served in the United States Army, thereafter, employed by a fortune 500 company and remained there for the rest of his working career. He is admired for Habitat for Humanity activist and a prominent antiques collector, mostly Chinese Antiques and European furniture at his large Victorian house in Georgia. Dimensions: 15" H x 10-1/2" W Stand: 2-1/8" H Chinese qing dynasty Blue & white Floral Porcelain Moon Vase on stand. Thick potted vase of tapered globular body, with narrow straight neck below the flat rim, supported on a concave splayed foot oval base. Two scrolling silk worms handles flanked from shoulder to the neck. Banded with repeated geometrical patterns under the rim, and collar. Main body decorated with hand painting in cobalt blue underglaze of centralized San character surrounded by dense of warpped floral and its foliage. Displayed on a hardwood carved stand. Mark on base, six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, Made in the Years of QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing (1644-1911)
