signed BOLONG，inscribed，and with one seal of the artist dated 1979 year ink and color on paper, hanging scroll Hei Bolong(1915-1989),was born into a muslim family in Linqing,Shandong Province.He learned from Zhang Wangyun and Zhang Maocai when he was young and graduated from Shanghai Artistic Training School and learned from Pan Tianshou and Wang Shengyuan in 1936.He established Nanhua Art Training School in Jinan in 1946 and worked as professor of Shangdong Art Training School and Shangdong Art Academy and later as vice Chair of Shangdong Branch of China Artists Association and dean of Shangdong Painting Academy since 1950s.
