Warring States Period Cast with two separated spoon-shaped parts with holes to two ends and a projection to one end's interior, forming a brace can be locked or tied, probably a chariot fitting, the body with rectangular open-work section and exquisitely inlaid with gold stylised clouds, the top to one side cast with a seated dragon in round and finely overlaid with thin gold sheet. 12cm (4 1/2in) wide.Footnotes戰國 銅錯金雲紋及包金龍紋抱頭 Provenance: A Hong Kong private collection 來源: 香港私人收藏 身分兩半,首尾有孔及凸起物可卯合,柄部成十字形,頭部彎曲,兩半合握成圓柱體,十字凸起一側及頭部表面錯金絲雲雷紋,一側頭部上鑄立體龍紋,龍身包金箔。 此器少見,可能為某種車馬器,合握鎖住某種圓柱體部件,而柄部十字形空檔更可插入另一部件進行加固。包金龍為秦國風格。
