20th century The largest zhuni (red clay) teapot of globular body, modelled in the shuiping form, the mouth rim incised with four characters reading Gaoyang Gongju, a Yingxing teapot active in late 20th century, 14cm (5 1/2in) wide; the slightly compressed body supported by a hollowed base incised with poem and signed by Mengchen, 13.5cm (5 1/4in) wide; the compressed body supported by short foot and hollowed base, signed by Yufang (Xu Yufang, born 1943) and impressed with artist's seal reading Xuji at the year of Xinhai, corresponding 1971, 11cm (4 1/4in) wide.
