A PAINTED POTTERY FIGURE OF A FOREIGN GROOM Tang Dynasty The figure standing wearing long robes tied at the waist with a fabric belt suspending a pouch and fly whisk, open at the chest revealing orange under-robes, the hair neatly parted and tidily framing the face, one arm held above the waist and the other outstretched to hold a rein. 26.5cm (10 1/2in) high. 注脚 唐 陶胎彩繪胡人俑 The result of Oxford Authentication Ltd. thermoluminescence test no.666d28, dated 2 July 1992, is consistent with the dating of this lot.
