A 'BUDDHA AND BODHISATTVA' TERRACOTTA PLAQUE Burma, 12th/13th century The group centred by the figure of the Buddha in bhumisparsha mudra gesture, flanked by two Bodhisattva, in abhaya mudra, in the background several stupas and some branches of the Bodhi tree of enlightenment, inscriptions in relief below the lotus pedestals. 20cm (7 7/8in) high 注脚 Provenance: Acquired at Asiatic Fine Arts, Singapore, 30th March 1992.
