A mahogany tilt top occasional table, circa 1760 and later, with piecrust edge and birdcage action above the lappet carved baluster and tripod base, 66cm high, 56cm diameter Condition Report: Overall there are marks, scratches, knocks, scuffing and abrasions. The piecrust top is a little loose jointed on the birdcage, some of the screws to the bearers are loose and the top is slightly bowed so that when placed upside down the rim does not lie touching the floor all around. There are signs of filled screw hole fixings to the centre of the underside of the top suggesting that this table top was possibly not originally on this base. The turned upper section of the column has a join with the leaf carved lower section of the column suggesting that the upper section is later. One of the legs has been repaired with cracks, a patch and with a later metal brace under that leg. Please see additional photographs for a visual reference of condition. Condition Report Disclaimer
