A cloisonné-enamel rounded square tray By Kinzan, Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century Conceived in the manner of Namikawa Sosuke, worked in copper wire with a cockerel, hen, and chick on a pale-grey blue ground, bordered by a band of half-chrysanthemum blossoms and stylised tendrils, the underside decorated with a large peony blossom and tendrils; signed Kinzan with a seal Kinzan; with a cloth-covered storage box. 27cm x 27cm (10 5/8in x 10 5/8in).
