An early 20th century Chinese Export silver rose water sprinkler set on tray, Canton circa 1920 The rose water sprinkler of conventional form with chased leaves,retailed by Mun Kee, marked underneath MK, 88 and artisan mark YI JI 義記. The sprinkler affixed to an unmarked oval tray with a pierced and embossed rim of flowering prunus, the gilt field of the tray engraved with chrysanthemums against a textured ground with a vacant oval cartouche. The field with an additional fixed box mount cornered with clusters of saw cut leaves, containing a removable unmarked scent bottle with a pull out scoop, the sides of bottle with flat chased floral decoration. Length – 31.5 cm / 12.5 inches Weight – 888 grams / 28.55 ozt
