A mid-20th century Iranian (Persian) unmarked silver book of matches holder, Tabriz dated 1943 Pahlavi dynasty, of square form the exterior sides with engraved scenes of Persepolis, the interior with an engraved inscription in Polish reading “everything passes and you will stay forever darling, the only one Danusia… Wladek” and then in Farsi ‘Tehran 30.1.43’.
