简介：童中焘，1939年出生于浙江省鄞县。1962年毕业于中国美术学院中国画系（原浙江美术学院）并留校任教。曾为陆俨少的助教，后任中国画系主任。现为中国美术家协会会员、李可染基金会艺委会委员、中国美术学院教授，享受***颁发的政府特殊津贴，2002年应邀参加浙江省十大画家首都展。擅长山水画，林无静树、川无停波，骨气清刚、风神秀发，奇崛与豪隽共济，是一位卓有成就的浙派山水画家。
