此品罐身造型敦雅，盖面微鼓，凸盖仿若花苞出水，玉立亭亭。唇口，短颈，鼓腹下敛，圈足。盖面绘朵莲清丽淡雅；颈部饰回纹，腹部绘开光兰花，间以菱纹若干，愈发清逸艳丽，加之画面典雅，布局得当，展现出画师不凡功力。此罐造型规整稳重，纹饰绘制精美，为吉州窑佳作。吉州窑是宋代重要窑场之一，所产瓷器各种各样，其装饰风格自由奔放，丰富多彩，纵观中国陶瓷史，鲜少窑口有如此丰富的工艺技法，对后世及其他窑口影响甚广。
