款識：大明宣德年制爐長方口，直腹，平底沿邊四角圓潤成四足支撐，雙如意方耳對稱工整。馬槽爐長方形貌，形似馬槽得名。器腹兩面開窗，淺線陰刻二牛圖，水牛凸睛闊口，角彎如月，鬃毛刻劃精細，整體雕刻繁簡得宜，匠意高超，形象生動，造型巧妙，富有自然情趣。此爐形端體正，線條剛勁，銅澤溫潤，聞聲清脆悅耳，鎏金裝飾，寶光澤澤，極具藝術性和收藏價值。
