The Mother of God in the popular type of the Kazanskaya, Christ shown half-length, upright and frontal, his right hand raised in blessing, their expressive faces delicately executed with soft earthly tones. Their garments rendered in deep colours, highlighted with dense chrysography. Their vestments embroidered with floral patterns of sea-pearls and vari-coloured paste. The silver riza with elaborate engraved floral designs. The prominent radiating haloes bearing semi-precious stones.
