The ovoid jar gently tapered and carved with two stylised phoenix with outstretched wings beneath a floral band to the shoulder, the domed cover imitating a lotus leaf with a stem finial, the larger dish rising from a short circular foot to a lobed rim, the small circular dish with S-shaped incisions surrounding the centre, all decorated with a cream glaze, 11.4 - 17.2cm diameter, 14cm H.
