Helzer (1946-2008), Founder of Unicover Corporation. This painting was originally published on the Republic of the Marshall Islands 33c FJ-1 Fury stamp issued February 10, 2000. In late World War II, the U.S. Navy developed its first carrier jet fighter, the North American FJ-1 Fury. Redesigned with swept wings as the F-86 Sabre, this plane went on to become a highly-successful Navy carrier fighter and the world's most successful land-based fighter of the 1950s.
