An Italian polychrome decorated model of a putto, late 18th/19th century, on a modern stone plinth, 81cm highAs can be seen from the online photograph, the figure is missing both arms and feet. There are shrinkage splits to the face and torso. There are knocks and scratches in areas overall with resultant loss of polychrome surface. The back has two infilled holes where wings would previously have been positioned.
