说明：明代中晚期的正德、嘉靖时期，景德镇烧制成功大型的龙罐，有高身和矮身之分，该件嘉靖青花翼龙纹罐采用调兑的回青料画翼龙，龙眼圆睁，不怒而威。其形庄重典雅，釉汁厚润泛青，罐腹前后各绘青花翼龙纹，躯干蟠曲，灵活矫健。翼飞龙——应龙。应龙是明代御瓷装饰的重要瑞兽之一，始见于宣德时期。
