AN ANTIQUE ERZURUM PRAYER KILIM, TURKEYThe green field with angular panels around rust long prayer panel containing stylised flowering tree. In double hooked vine border between zig-zag stripes. Hooked panel skirt at each end, approx: 161cm x 107cm. This kilim has localised wear and few splits in places on the field and borders. One end with original platted fringes. Other end slightly fraying on edges. Selvages also slightly fraying. Black slightly corroded. Very good example for this type.
