A FINE KASHAN RUG, CENTRAL PERSIAThe indigo field with multicoloured bold palmettes, floral and leafy spprays around light rust cusped floral medallion with pendants containing ivory floral centrepiece. Spandrels similar. In light rust border similar design between ivory floral meander, reciprocal and plain stripes, approx: 202cm. x 128cm. Nice example for this type with well balanced colours and elegant design. This rug has touches of slight wear to the top pile in few places, barely visible. Salvages original with touches of fraying on cord wool in tiny places. Both ends with short fringes, secured. In general this rug is very good usable condition. Very good furnishing piece.
