此器型仿青铜觚，呈四方形，器身分三段，口部外撇，呈四方喇叭状。鼓腹，腹部方正而凸出，通体纹饰缠枝蔓草花纹。花觚为佛前供器又是四方形，景德镇的匠人们常说一句老话:一方顶十圆。意思是:一件方形的瓷器，能抵过十件圆形的瓷器，可见求圆较易，求方艰难。
