A Chinese gilt bronze triad figure of Buddha Shakyamuni flanked by Manjushri and Avalokitesvara, both would most likely have held a lotus flower stem, the Buddha is seated in dhyanasana on a lotus and lion throne backed by a mandorla, the hands in a meditative posture, he is dressed in a robe with engraved flowers, pierced throne with tendrils and lions on each corner, mandorla cast with rays and flowers, the back engraved with clouds.
