A Chinese gilt bronze figure of a Louhan, possibly Kalika, he is seated with one leg raised, dressed in a richly pleated robe, in his hands a beaded strand and a hoop. Late Ming, 17th century. Weight 3540 g. H. 25.5 cm. Provenance: C. A. Wagner began in East Asiatic Company in 1927 and was stationed in Shanghai.
