His Sappho shows the ancient lyrical poet in a seated pose, following in composition James Pradier's Sappho, which was celebrated at the Salon of 1852 and is now in the Musée d'Orsay.BeschreibungFranzösischer Skulpteur 2. Seine Sappho zeigt die antike Lyrikerin in sitzender Pose und folgt damit in Komposition der Sappho von James Pradier, die im Salon von 1852 gefeiert wurde und sich heute im Musée d'Orsay befindet.
