Framed.Heinrich Zügel, who was granted noble status in 1907, studied at the academies in Stuttgart and Munich, where he had a lively exchange with his role model, the renowned animal painter Anton Braith (1836 - 1905). Strongly influenced by the rural environment of his youth as the son of a shepherd, farm animals such as sheep and cattle played a central role in his œuvre. Gerahmt.Der 1907 in den Adelsstand erhobene Heinrich Zügel studierte an den Akademien in Stuttgart und München und stand dort mit seinem Vorbild, dem renommierten Tiermaler Anton Braith (1836 - 1905), in regem Austausch. Stark geprägt durch das ländliche Umfeld seiner Jugend als Sohn eines Schäfers, spielten Nutztiere, wie Schafe oder Rinder, eine zentrale Rolle in seinem Œuvre.
