鸡心碗因外底有鸡心状凸起而得名，造型俊秀，创烧于明永乐时期，清雍正、乾隆两朝延续烧制，器形略有变化，仍不失典雅秀美之风范。
拍品敞口微敛，深腹向下渐收，至碗心下凹，小圈足内心微微凸起。碗内壁施白釉，外壁满施霁红釉，釉色鲜艳沉稳，显现橘皮纹，口沿处形成一道灯草边，与内壁白釉自然融合，刻意追仿明代早期红釉质感。
