Huge Christmas Pyramid with figures, late 19th century, wooden pyramid, divided into 5 floors, each floor with permanently mounted, painted mass figures, thematically divided into scenes from the life of Jesus, starting with the lowest floor: Jesus in the manger with Mary, Joseph and the 3 kings, second floor: Anunciation scene, third floor: clergymen or apostles with Jesus, fourth floor: Mary riding a donkey, Joseph and an angel, fifth floor: crowned by three bells that ring when turned (bells can ring with a lever and turned off) and large impeller, the wings painted blue with stars. The pyramid stands on a square base board with a surrounding fence. The base board can be covered with moss, plus 23 loose animal figures and 12 attached candle holders. Figures partly dam., cracked wood, signs of age. Pyramid rotates when it is set up with a spirit level and the candles are lit. Candles not included.
