此砚端溪优质三坑石所制，整体石肉石品，天青一片如梦幻。该砚之优点在于制作非普通形制，乃是独一无二的写意叠荷砚，背面一叶卷为深覆池，中心留出类鹅腹的凸起以代表荷叶起伏。正面两片组合成叶形砚池，正背两面皆有不似之似之妙，设计水准高超，属文人定制砚范畴。
