A gold, coral and diamond brooch, of flower head design applied with rope and bead work detail centring on a cluster of coral (corallium rubrum) beads applied to the centre with a single circular-cut diamond, suspending two coral tassel drops, with glazed locket reverse, c.1870.Minor abrasions and scratches commensurate with age and use, and some small dents, brooch pin secure, one petal slightly loose, two loop fittings to reverse possibly for additional tassel drops now deficient, central coral cluster slightly loose, gross weight approximately 22.6 grams.
