座屏的座与屏的外框由红木制成，并镶嵌螺钿缠枝花卉纹样作为装饰，框内镶粤绣“五伦图”，图中绣有凤凰、仙鹤、鸳鸯、鶺鸰、黄莺等禽鸟，并有竹枝、花卉作为背景加以点缀。图中禽鸟或立或飞神态各异，形成浮雕的立体效果。粤绣亦称“广绣”，与苏州的苏绣，湖南的湘绣，四川的蜀绣合称为中国的“四大名绣”。
