本拍品主石為 OLD EUROPEAN CUT 老歐洲切工型的鑽石，不同於現代明亮式理想車工的閃亮璀璨，卻有著豐富的時代內蘊，呈現古董珠寶特有的神韻氣質。老歐洲切工型始於19世紀早期，在當時寶石的切割多數採取儘量保存體積的策略，是現代常見圓形明亮式切工的前身，老歐洲切磨鑽石與現代圓形明亮式相比，冠部更高，全深更大，識別度很高。
