許靜，1975年出生於江蘇淮安。自幼跟隨父親習書，有扎實的傳統書法的功底。本科畢業於南京藝術學院設計學院平面設計專業，讀硏究生期間跟隨著名書法家黃惇先生研習書法。獲碩士學位。現為南京書畫院專職書法家。許靜書法涉獵較廣，真草篆隸皆行，尤擅大草與小楷，她強調書法的當代性，其「酒書」系列最具代表性。
此外，许静书法被运用于诸多电影作品中，如：张艺谋导演的《影》《悬涯之上》《一秒钟》；陈可辛导演的《武侠》；王家卫导演的纪录片《宗师之路》。
