钤印：邓琰、石如款识：乙卯菊秋书于震筠山馆，邓琰。邓石如（1739-1805），初名琰，字石如，后更字顽伯，又号完白山人，安徽怀宁人。清代碑学书家巨擘，称为“四体皆精，国朝第一”，邓派（皖派）创始人。尤工篆刻，首创在篆刻中采用小篆和碑额的文字，拓宽了篆刻取资范围，在篆刻上形成了自已刚健婀娜的风格，同时期的包世臣、吴让之、赵之谦、吴咨、胡澍徐三庚等人都受其影响。长于篆书，以秦李斯、唐李阳冰为宗，稍参隶意，称为神品。
