Ca. 43mm long, ca. 21mm diameter, black, polished wood, elaborately carved, 4 cartouches with different representations all around, rare. The wood of the tagua nut was used in the 19th century as an alternative to ivory for carving. A small collection of these rarities was part of the anniversary auction Dr. Crott Auction 92. lot 103!
