Ø57.5mm, ca. 170g, exceptionally beautiful and high quality silver case, bell, special quality oignon movement, silver pillars, silver balance bridge, decorated with various animals, signed plate, quarter hour repeater, enamel dial in very good condition, pink gold hands, intact, important Parisian watchmaker. Isaac Thuret (1630-1706) was appointed court watchmaker in 1684. From 1686 he was responsible for the watches of Fontainebleau Castle, the Academy of Sciences and the Paris Observatory.
