Ca. 40 × 47mm, 18K pink gold, a slide on the back, winding and time setting underneath, face set with half Oriental pearls, dark blue engine turned enamel in perfect condition, 2 small dials for the hours/minutes and the very rare early seconds indication, cylinder escapement, blued steel hands, in museum condition with original box, polished steel miniature key, movement starts ticking, cleaning recommended. The shield form watch is one of the rarities among enamel form watches. This is a particularly beautiful example, set with Oriental pearls. The watch is also very interesting from a technical point of view, as it has a decentralised time display with an additional seconds display. Comparable watches are known from Antoine Moilliet & Cie, specialised in the production of fancy watches in Geneva from ca. 1790 to ca. 1810. Source: (https://www.cortrie.de/go/lNA).
