The watch comes from Hamburg original ownership and is in very beautiful used condition. In 1959, the gold GMT model 6542 was launched with an unusual type of index, where a simple radium dot would normally have been used, a solid gold base was additionally used to encompass the radium. In collectors' circles, this type of dial was soon called 'nipple dial '.
