Of longish cross section, to one side a large camellia blossom, bud, leaves and wasp in carved inlays of ivory, lead, mother-of-pearl and on the reverse a jui sceptre of cherry bark with a cord of metal and a bead of malachite. Inscription with seal reading Mitsunobu. At the base an inlaid ivory tablet inscribed Maeda zo. Ojime with plumblossom branches in Shibayama inlay. This lot contains materials which require a CITES licence for export outside of the EU contract countries. We would like to inform you that such licenses are usually not granted.
