Of musô-zutsu type, displaying two tortoises of carved black wood climbing up a stream represented by bone-inlaid wavy lines, with two tablets inscribed: ni kame (two tortoises) and Mitsuhiro saku, the reverse with a rock in water and engraved grasses, signed Menkyo?sai Dôraku saku. The rims lined with bone, the eyelet of bone replaced, and to the inside of the lid a shippo pattern in openwork.
