The disc of ivory deeply carved with a half portrait of an Onna Daruma with a large flywhisk and a butterfly, the bowl of tagayasan wood. Signed Ichiyu to the reverse of the disc. The carver of the disc most probably is Murata Naomitsu Ichiyûsai (1867-1931) from Osaka. This lot contains materials which require a CITES licence for export outside of the EU contract countries.
