signed WANGHUI,inscribed,and with two seals of the artist dated Gengyin year（1710） ink and color on silk, hanging scroll Wang Hui (1632–1717) was a Chinese landscape painter, one of the Four Wangs.Though much of his painting is academic and pedestrian,there is in his best works an intensity in the handling of brushstroke rhythms and textures that yields a dense and detailed unity without losing the composition's clarity or meaning.
