A GROUP OF TWO SEALS, A TSAMPA VESSEL AND A BUTTER LAMP
Tibet, 19th century. The lot comprising a cast iron seal and a brass and iron seal of cylindrical form with a shaped lotus finial, pierced for suspension, and carved with scrolling vines and flowers, one in openwork. A copper Tsampa storage vessel with a cover surmounted by a lotus bud finial, the conical body with brass applications carved with geometric designs, a pair of handles and loose rings. A gilt and silver-plated copper butter lamp and cover, the stem bowl with deep sides incised and embossed with Buddhist emblems surrounded by lotus scroll, raised on a tall hollow stem foot encircled by a band of petals, the cover similarly decorated.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear, occasional light scratches, small dents, tiny losses, few minuscule nicks to edges.
