A JADE GROUP COMPRISING TWO ARCHER’S RINGS AND AN ARCHAISTIC BI DISC
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The first a cylindrical ring, incised with a pine tree and monkey, the rims with a leiwen band, the semi-translucent stone of a pale celadon hue. The second a miniature bi disc decorated on both sides in high relief with comma spirals within inner and outer raised borders and flanked on the edges by a pair of dragon heads and a pierced petal for suspension, the translucent stone of a celadon and russet color play. The third a cylindrical ring with uneven rim, the semi-translucent stone of a celadon hue with russet inclusions.
Condition: The first in excellent condition, the second and third with some nibbling to rims and edges.
