A CELADON JADE HORSE WITH BAT
China, late Qing (1644-1912). Carved as a recumbent horse, the head tilted back towards the bat perched on its back. The ribs, mane, and facial features neatly incised. A hole pierced through the front legs for suspension. The stone of celadon tone with mottled greyish brown inclusions.
Condition: Very good condition with little wear, the stone with natural fissures, some of which may have developed into small hairline cracks over time.
