A CARVED GROUP OF JADE HORSES
China, Republic period (1912-1949). The stone of pale celadon color with dark brownish and grey shadings and speckles as well as cloudy inclusions. The group is nicely carved and polished to depict two recumbent horses, possibly a mother with her foal, facing each other.
Condition: One chip to one hoof, some minor wear, otherwise very good condition.
